I just finished our semi view it was a real easy read. It was realfuny. I learned a lot about what truck drivers had to go thru to get the job done and get paid. This book is such a wonderful story about family and life. It's such a fun and easy read. I found my self literally laughing out loud at times. I think it will be a great stocking stuffer this year.
This book was soo funny! I must say my favorite story was the one about OK! When you read this book you'll see why. I laughed outloud while reading it (not just the story, but the whole book). The whole book is an easy read. This will make a great stocking stuffer for Christmas. This was by far funnier than "s*** my dad says" and that was made into a short lived tv series. )I cant sing enough praise for the book. Leslie has alot of love for her family, the book shows it. Thanks for the great read Leslie.
This was a fantastic read. Extremely funny--A LOT, sad--a few times, but mostly just all the depth and love of family combined into a set of stories that left me longing for each new page and humorous adventure. This author has an incredible sense of humor and way with words. I saw someone write that this would make a great stocking stuffer and I couldn't agree more. I can't wait for more stories from Leslie Adams Rogers!
This book was fun to read and let me in on some of the struggles of truck drivers. I know a few of them and had no idea about any of the stuff they go through. In fact, I have a friend who is a truck driver who makes his life out to be so wonderful and perfect...as a truck driver....and he drives a very similar route as Leslie and her husband Will drove. Now I know its not all fun and games as he says! This book made me laugh a lot and also made me get teary eyed in some parts. This is a book you can take with you anywhere and pick up just where you left off as the chapters are short. Leslie makes it easy to ride along with her and experience all the crazy stuff that happens to truck drivers. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good laugh. Thank you Leslie for sharing your experiences with us and showing us that even though life isnt easy...it can be fun, especially from your Semi View.
